September, das Motto f\u00fcr den Tag des offenen Denkmals 2025. Zum 32. Aktionstag werden Denkmale und ihre Einzigartigkeit ins Rampenlicht ger\u00fcckt. Traditionell beteiligt sich die Point Alpha Stiftung mit Spezial-Angeboten an diesem Kulturevent, auch um mit den Besuchern in den Dialog zu treten.<\/p>\n

Jahrzehntelang pr\u00e4gten die DDR-Beobachtungst\u00fcrme das Bild der deutschen Teilung und manche werden bis heute weitergenutzt, zum Beispiel als museale Denkm\u00e4ler. Da der Tag des offenen Denkmals den Sinn und Nutzen von Denkmalschutz behandelt, \u00f6ffnet die Point Alpha Stiftung den ehemaligen F\u00fchrungsturm bei Wiesenfeld. Mit einer Plakatausstellung zeigt Point Alpha dort die unterschiedliche Nachnutzung alter Grenzt\u00fcrme und m\u00f6chte mit den Besuchern in Austausch dar\u00fcber treten, ob der Erhalt von Geb\u00e4uden wie der Wiesenfelder F\u00fchrungsstelle als Denkmal und Teil musealer Konzepte gerechtfertigt oder \u00fcbertrieben ist. Der Turm ist von 10 bis 18 Uhr f\u00fcr interessierte Besucher kostenlos ge\u00f6ffnet, halbst\u00fcndige F\u00fchrungen beginnen zu jeder vollen Stunde.<\/p>\n

Zus\u00e4tzlich gibt um 11 Uhr eine G\u00e4stebegleitung im Rahmen einer Museumsf\u00fchrung einen \u00dcberblick \u00fcber die Themen der Gedenkst\u00e4tte Point Alpha. Die Kosten dieser F\u00fchrung betragen 3,50 Euro pro Person zuz\u00fcglich zum regul\u00e4ren Eintritt. Kinder unter 16 Jahren sind von der Geb\u00fchr befreit. Treffpunkt ist das Haus auf der Grenze.<\/p>\n

Bereits eine Woche zuvor, am Samstag, den 6. September, stimmt Point Alpha mit einer Grenzwanderung auf den \u201eTag des offenen Denkmals\u201c ein. Bei der Tour entlang des Grenzlehrpfades kann man ab 14 Uhr die Stationen des Eiserner Vorhangs erleben und das Biosph\u00e4renreservat Rh\u00f6n genie\u00dfen. Die Kosten: 6,50 Euro pro Person, erm\u00e4\u00dfigt 5,50 Euro. Mindesteilnehmeranzahl zehn Personen, Anmeldung bis 15 Uhr am Vortag.
\nPoint Alpha m\u00f6chte den Blick f\u00fcr die Details des authentischen Geschichtsortes zwischen Rasdorf und Geisa sch\u00e4rfen und die Gedenkst\u00e4tte als einzigartiges Schaufenster der Historie pr\u00e4sentieren\u201c, erl\u00e4utert Benedikt Stock, Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrender Vorstand.
