Normalerweise halten sich nur gef\u00fchrte Besuchergruppen bei Tageslicht im Turm auf. Was geht da nun vor sich?<\/p>\n

Die Erkl\u00e4rung ist recht simpel. Die markante Wegmarke am Gr\u00fcnen Band steht seit etwa f\u00fcnf Jahrzehnten an exponierter Stelle. Die F\u00fchrungsstelle ist den harschen Witterungsverh\u00e4ltnissen der Rh\u00f6n ausgesetzt, Wind und Wetter haben ihre Spuren hinterlassen. Im Zwischengeschoss tritt Feuchtigkeit ins Innere. Auch in der Beobachtungskanzel nagt der Zahn der Zeit. Trotz seiner rustikalen Bauweise ben\u00f6tigt der BT-6 also eine Frischzellenkur.<\/p>\n

Daf\u00fcr braucht es Profis. Im Ausschreibungsverfahren setzte sich die Fuldaer Firma \u201eBausanierung und Denkmalpflege J\u00f6rg Bohn\u201c durch. Mitarbeiter sind nun ab dem fr\u00fchen Morgen im Einsatz. Ein Stromaggregat sorgt f\u00fcr das n\u00f6tige Licht, um im ersten Arbeitsschritt den Zustand der Bausubstanz zu ermitteln. Grunds\u00e4tzlich sei diese noch in Ordnung, sagt Steven Klein, der die Baustelle betreut. Dennoch muss er W\u00e4nde und Decken aufstemmen, um das unter Denkmalschutz stehende Bauwerk f\u00fcr die Zukunft zu r\u00fcsten. Diese Arbeiten sind zwingend notwendig, auch wenn dadurch derzeit keine Turmbegehungen m\u00f6glich sind. Damit ist das R\u00e4tsel um die allmorgendliche Beleuchtung gel\u00f6st.<\/p>\n

Die Stiftung Naturschutz Th\u00fcringen f\u00f6rdert das Projekt zu 90 Prozent. \u201eDank der kurzfristigen Genehmigung der F\u00f6rdergelder k\u00f6nnen die Ma\u00dfnahmen noch vor Beginn der kalten Jahreszeit, angegangen werden \u2013 daf\u00fcr bin ich unserem Projektpartner ausgesprochen dankbar\u201c, betont der Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrende Vorstand der Point Alpha Stiftung, Benedikt Stock.
